Be sure to include tracking information and expected delivery dates so we can keep an eye on these packages.<\/li>\n
- Package Check-in Notifications: <\/strong>Once a package is delivered to the Mailroom from the College’s Central Receiving, residents will receive a package check-in notification email with the package details. Before visiting, ensure you have this notification, as it differs from the vendor\u2019s delivery notification. You can visit during any of the open hours listed below.<\/li>\n
- Parking for Package Pickup:<\/strong>\u00a0There are three designated temporary parking spots near the CPA Laundry Room, specifically for the mailroom. These 15-minute spots are intended for quick package retrieval.<\/li>\n
- Return to Sender:<\/strong> If a name is not on the package or it only includes a first name (with no last name), it will be returned to the sender, as we cannot identify the student. Please ensure your packages are addressed correctly. Proper addressing information is below.<\/li>\n
- Authorize Release:<\/strong> If a package arrives in someone else\u2019s name but is meant for another student, that receiving person must email orlmailroom@ramapo.edu<\/a> to authorize its release.<\/li>\n
- Letters:<\/strong> Any non-package mail (letters, postcards, etc.) sent to residents at Ramapo will be delivered to their hall or area office’s mailroom. Residents can pick up letters from their assigned Residence Hall mailbox.<\/li>\n
- Sending Letters\/packages:<\/strong> Residents wishing to send letters or packages can drop them off at the Residence Life Mailroom, provided they have proper postage. Mail and packages are typically picked up and dropped off once per business day.<\/li>\n
- Amazon Lockers:<\/strong> If ordering something from Amazon, you can choose to have your Amazon packages delivered to one of three Amazon lockers on campus. The locker “cheys<\/strong>” is located behind C-Wing by the entrance to the Student Center. The locker “ming<\/strong>” is located outside the Thomases Commons in the Village Apartments. The locker “gelatin<\/strong>” is located inside the Trustees Pavilion near the entrance to the cafeteria and just on the other side of the wall where the micro-market is located.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
