Some apartments are also duplexes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General area features<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Furnishings for each student include a living room with a couch, two chairs, end table, and coffee table, a bedroom with a XL twin mattress, desk, desk chair and wardrobe, and a kitchen with full size refrigerator\/freezer, a dining table with four chairs, and cabinet space.<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor basketball court with picnic area and grills.<\/li>\n<li>The CPA area is designated dry (alcohol is prohibited).<\/li>\n<li>Each bedroom door is accessed through a punch code assigned to each resident of the bedroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/reslife\/college-park-apartments-cpa\/map-cpa\/\">College Park Apartments map<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase I building features <\/strong>(Buckeye, Elm, Hickory, Holly, International, Mimosa, Palm, Redwood and Science):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The CPA area was recently renovated. The updated bathrooms include showers without bathtubs. Phase I buildings kitchens include a microwave, an oven and a stove top.<\/li>\n<li>Redwood and Hickory currently have conventional microwaves and stovetops. All other Phase I buildings have a stove, an oven, and a microwave.<\/li>\n<li>Temperature controlled through setting units from high to low HVAC<\/li>\n<li>Phase I apartments have carpeting in the bedrooms and not the common living areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Phase II building features <\/strong>(Butternut, Cypress, Mulberry , Sycamore and Tamarack):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Phase II buildings have ovens with stove tops.<\/li>\n<li>Temperature controlled through setting units to a specific temperature number<\/li>\n<li>Phase II bedrooms have carpets. We encourage residents to bring carts in order to make doing laundry easier for them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>The Lodge Fitness Center:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The Fitness Center is managed by Athletics. Hours will be posted to the fitness center entrance doors.<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Driving on Walkways<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<h4>Driving on Walkways:<\/h4>\n<p>Cars are prohibited from the walkways.\u00a0 Driving on the walkways is dangerous for pedestrians and damages the landscaping and sprinkler heads.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Alcohol Policies on Campus<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<h4>Alcohol Policies on Campus<\/h4>\n<h2><b>Alcohol Allowed Housing\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Suites within The Village, within the 7th and 8th floors of Laurel Hall, and students enrolled in Graduate School may become Alcohol Allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Residents may become eligible for Alcohol Allowed Housing, beginning on the first day of classes for the semester, as per our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/academic-calendars\/\">Academic Calendar<\/a>; pending they have complied with the application process.<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol is permitted in certain student housing only during the Fall and Spring semesters. Alcohol is not permitted in any student housing outside of the Fall and Spring semesters, including during Winter Term, Summer Housing, or any interim or break period, regardless of age, housing assignment, or any other consideration. Possession of alcoholic beverages or certain alcohol-related paraphernalia during these periods is prohibited and will be documented as an alcohol policy violation.<\/p>\n<p>Application process:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Each resident who is 21 must fill out the alcohol allowed agreement.<\/li>\n<li>Once the alcohol allowed agreement is filled out by all residents who are 21, the residents need to send an email to their hall office to confirm they have all filled out the form.<\/li>\n<li>The hall office will place an alcohol allowed agreement inside, next to the apartment door. It is the residents responsibility to ensure that this agreement is always visible in the allocated spot that it was placed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once the above requirements are met, our staff will review the request, and hang an official alcohol allowed sign on the inside of the suite. The agreement must be placed in the holder next to the suite door before alcohol can be present. Until this process is completed, the housing assignment is alcohol prohibited.
