March 2026<\/h2>\n

A second drop-in Q&A Session with the Deans was held on March 4.<\/p>\n

Updated audits<\/a> became available to students and advisors on March 3, 2026. Students graduating in Spring or Summer 2026 use U.Achieve<\/a> and continuing students use Degree Works<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

February 2026<\/h2>\n

The CAP Action Team met in February and recommended that the Provost meet with staff across cores to provide a CAP update. These meetings took place in February and March.<\/p>\n

A drop-in Question & Answer Session took place on February 26 providing students with the opportunity to ask Deans questions about the CAP.<\/p>\n

All students received an email on February 23, 2026 which explained how the CAP updates impact them specifically. The message included links to the CAP Student Resources page, and information about upcoming Question and Answer sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n

On February 4, 2026, Provost Middleton and Assistant Provost Vanessa Arriola joined a Student Government Association meeting and Club Officers\u2019 meeting. They shared CAP updates, answered questions, and notified members of the <\/span>Student Resources<\/span><\/a> page on the Provost\u2019s website.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 2026<\/h2>\n

On January 30, 2026 the <\/span>Comprehensive Academic Plan (CAP) Action Team met and was charged with advancing the next phase of 秘密研究所\u2019s academic transformation by coordinating, sequencing, and supporting the implementation of CAP goals, objectives, and tasks across the College\u2019s Cores This team will ensure that CAP initiatives are aligned with institutional mission, improve the student academic experience, and are executed in a timely and evidence-informed manner. The CAP Action Team is co-chaired by the Provost and the Assistant Provost and has members representing the Executive Core, Fiscal Core, Operational Integration Core, Outreach and Engagement Core, and Student Well-being Core. Additional members may be added at the discretion of the Provost to ensure the team has the appropriate expertise and campus-wide representation.<\/span><\/p>\n

On January 14 and 15, 2026, more than 100 faculty members gathered in the new school structure. The retreat provided space for collegial discussion and shared reflection, with goals to strengthen collaboration, develop a shared understanding of priorities and school processes, discuss student needs, and support curriculum development.<\/span><\/p>\n

December 2025<\/h2>\n

On December 9, 2025, Vice Provost Joyce Shim invited all Conveners for Coffee and Conversation in Padovano Commons. This event provided an informal opportunity for Conveners to ask questions and provide feedback on the Comprehensive Academic Plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

On December 4, 2025, Provost Middleton sent a <\/span>message<\/span><\/a> to all students to share information on the Comprehensive Academic Plan including the updated school structure. The message also shared the new <\/span>Student Resources<\/span><\/a> section of the Comprehensive Academic Plan web page.<\/span><\/p>\n

On December 3, 2025, Assistant Provost Vanessa Arriola presented and answered questions on the CAP to a group of students at the Club Officers Meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

November 2025<\/h2>\n

On November 20, 2025, Provost Middleton shared the announcement that Dean Susan Hangen will lead the School of Social Sciences and Social Work and Dean Ken Goldstein will lead the School of Arts, Humanities, and Education. He also shared that a search for a Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Honors will commence at the start of the new semester.<\/span><\/p>\n

October 2025<\/h2>\n

On October 29, the Provost’s Office and the CAP Implementation Team facilitated a follow up conversation with faculty. In addition to the in-person meeting, faculty can review all CAP documents and submit questions regarding implementation through a Qualtrics survey<\/a> posted on the intranet. This information was also made available to Ramapo Staff Association (RSA) leadership and the Student Government Association (SGA) President. The meeting with SGA was postponed and will be rescheduled in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Assistant Provost Vanessa Arriola presented the Comprehensive Academic Plan (CAP) to members of the Cabinet of Agents. Representatives from the Ramapo Staff Association (RSA) were also in attendance. The presentation was followed by a brief question and answer session.<\/p>\n

On October 24, 2025, Vanessa Arriola, Assistant Provost for Administration, Budget, and Planning hosted a meeting with staff from the Provost\u2019s office, school staff with scheduling responsibilities, and the Registrar. She provided a condensed version of the CAP presentation and led a discussion primarily around the scheduling process for Fall 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

On October 23, 2025, Provost Middleton presented the highlights of the CAP presentation to the Foundation Board of Governors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Provost’s Presentation to Faculty<\/a> – On Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm in Pavilion 1 and 2, Provost Middleton shared his vision for academics at Ramapo, shaped by the recommendations of the three Task Force reports and the Comprehensive Academic Plan (CAP). His presentation outlined the academic direction for the College and highlighted key initiatives that will influence our shared work across the campus community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Liberal Arts Curriculum Task Force submitted its final report<\/a> to the Provost. The Task Force addressed broader objectives of the CAP including:<\/span><\/p>\n
