Original copies are emailed to you after a student&#8217;s accommodations are approved by OSS for your course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The platform aims to streamline disability access for students by supporting faculty in their role as instructors. The platform will also enhance communications among students, OSS, and faculty.\u00a0 By handily keeping all the information in one place, the portal will permit faculty to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 With student permission, view accommodation letters of students enrolled in their courses<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 Complete and view the Faculty Alternative Testing Agreements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 View exam sign-ups by student per course, per exam<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 Upload exams<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"infoBox col-sm-12 col-lg-12 \"><div class=\"boxContent\">\n<p><strong>How to Access and Use the Instructor Portal<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Login to the Instructor Portal<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Log into the Instructor Portal through the OSSOnline Login Instructors Button<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Use your Ramapo User ID and password to log in. You will only be able to use this system if you are a Ramapo faculty member with an active Ramapo User ID.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Instructor Portal - Academic Accommodations<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once logged into the Instructor Portal, you will be able to view your students\u2019 approved disability accommodations or services in your courses (<strong>by clicking \u201cView\u201d next to the student\u2019s name<\/strong>). This is the same information that is contained in the Academic Accommodations Notices that were emailed to you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><b>Note<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">:<\/span> If a student has not requested an Academic Accommodations Notice from our office, or if it has not yet been approved, that student\u2019s information will not be accessible through this portal. You will only have access to student information that the student has requested be released in the form of a letter to you and it has been approved by OSS. Once the Academic Accommodations Notice is shared with you, students are still expected to have a conversation about their needed accommodations and services in your course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If a student in your course gets approved for additional accommodations or services, those would also appear in the portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you do not see any student information after logging in, it means that you do not currently have any students with disabilities who have requested their approved academic accommodations or you may not have students with disabilities in your course(s).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Instructor Portal - Alternative Testing<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<p>Once logged into the Instructor Portal, <strong>Click<\/strong> <em>Alternative Testing<\/em> to enter the portal\u2019s alt testing page.
