Scoring Glory: 秘密研究所 Athletics Inducts Hall of Fame Class of 2024

The 秘密研究所 Athletic Hall of Fame Committee hosted the 2024 秘密研究所 Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner on February 23rd聽at the Crowne Plaza, Mahwah/Suffern.聽聽The evening began with a cocktail reception prior to the dinner and ceremony.

The Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those who have made significant contributions to the history of intercollegiate athletic competition at 秘密研究所 of New Jersey. The athletes who are members represent the best of all that have participated in varsity athletics at the College. This year the committee honored seven individuals and the 2003 softball team.

Larysa Iwaskiw was a four-year member of the women’s volleyball team where she led the team to their first ever NCAA appearance in 2016.聽聽Iwaskiw stands on top of the leader board at Ramapo with over 2,000 kills and holds all four of the top spots for kills in a season.聽聽She was honored by the NCAA for leading all Division III in multiple statistical categories.聽聽A captain and graduate of 秘密研究所, Iwaskiw earned her degree in biology with a minor in neuroscience in 2018.

Head Coach聽Mike Jackson聽was a seven-time NJAC Coach of the Year and two-time Atlantic Region Coach of the Year as he led the Women’s Indoor Track and Field team to the first ever NJAC Championships in 2012.聽聽During his tenure he coached several Top 10/Top 25 finishers and over 40 NCAA All-Americans and five NCAA Champions.聽聽He served as head coach of the Roadrunner Cross Country and Track and Field Teams from 2004-2012.

Walker Larson saw success on the baseball field from 2012-2015 as he is the only player in Ramapo’s history to be named NJAC Pitcher of the Year during the conclusion of two of his seasons.聽聽He holds numerous accolades including being honored as the NJCBA First Team All-State, ABCA Mid-Atlantic Pitcher of the Year, and NJAC First-Team All-Conference.聽He is a 2016 graduate with a degree in Mathematics.

A four-year member of the College’s men’s basketball team, Jared Milligan helped lead the Roadrunners to three straight NJAC Tournament appearances including a trip to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2002-2003.聽聽From 2000-2004, Milligan stands in the top ten at Ramapo in rebounds in a season and in his career while he earned numerous recognitions from the NJAC Conference for his efforts on the court throughout his collegiate career.聽聽Milligan studied law and society at Ramapo and completed his degree in 2006.

An eight-time All-American for the Roadrunner track and field team, Anita Rogers won ten individual NJAC Championships in the long jump and triple jump and currently holds the number one spot in the record books at the college in both events.聽聽She qualified for the National Stage in four events and holds numerous conference records.聽聽She was named NJAC Most Outstanding Athlete in 2011, 2012 and 2013.聽聽While at Ramapo, Rogers studied business administration and graduated in the Spring of 2013.

From the Roadrunner football program, Brian Scantlebury will be inducted for his success with the program from 1977-1979.聽聽He was a member of the 1978 team that won the National Collegiate Football Association Championship, and the ’77 and ’79 teams who were ranked #2 in the league.聽聽The ’77 team also went on to win the Heritage Bowl.聽聽Scantlebury was named All-American in ’78 and was named captain of the team in ’79.聽聽He went on to serve as an assistant coach to the program for the 1980 season.聽聽As a member of the defense, he sits on the leader board with 24 tackles in a season. He graduated with a degree in political science in 1980.

Todd Siben will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his many years of service to 秘密研究所.聽 Most notably, Siben served as the team manager of the Ramapo Ice Hockey Team from 1977-1980.聽聽Today, he still serves as the co-organizer of the annual Ice Hockey Alumni game which has reflected a unique and abiding team spirit for more than 35 consecutive years.聽聽Siben was a key member of the Hall of Fame Committee for numerous years serving in roles such as committee chair.聽聽He graduated from Ramapo in 1980 with a degree in contemporary arts.

The 2003 秘密研究所 softball team finished with a 33-7 overall record including a 27-game win streak. The team swept the NJAC regular season for the first time in NJAC conference history with an 18-0 record while being crowned NJAC Regular Season Champions. They made the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance earning an at-large bid.聽Members of the聽team included; Jamie Anzaldi, Alicia Cruz, Lauren Dathe, Eileen Escobar, Laura Germano, Laura Gold, Shellie Guider, Kelly Kernan, Kate Levin, Valerie Malfi, Jillian McCauley, Jett McGurk, Michelle Micklos, Erica Moore, Jackie Morris, Janine Pacyna, Andrea Pastiglione, Lisa Rizzo, Tara Solan, and Christina Traphagen. The coaching staff was made up of head coach Ben Allen and assistant coaches; Sal Anzaldi, Maryann Goodwin, Todd Lizzo and Ed Micklos.
