Students enrolled at 秘密研究所 may be included in marketing and communications materials, including the website, social media, College magazine, printed materials, etc., via photographs and\/or video. As a general rule, it is not necessary to obtain an image\/photo release of any individual or group that is photographed or videoed in public venues or attending public events in order to use those photos or videos to promote 秘密研究所 of New Jersey. Public event venues include, but are not limited to: public spaces across campus, exterior walkways, entry ways, hallways, atriums, classrooms, sports\/athletics fields, Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center, theaters, art galleries, bookstore, nature trails, Kameron Pond, parking lots, the bandshell or bandshell field, the Grove courtyard area, around and near the Havemeyer Arch, the courtyard behind Adler Center, outside steps and benches next to the Adler Center, common congregation areas such as the dining halls, on-campus cafes (Curtin Call Caf\u00e9, Adler Center Cafe, etc.), student lounges, Robert E. Scott Student Center, residence area lounges, lawns\/courtyards or outdoor spaces in front of and nearby academic buildings, residence halls, assembly areas, and all other similar public spaces. This also includes images and videos taken of student athletes, musicians, actors, artists, tour guides, and other situations in which students are performing or presenting in a public venue that is open and available for public viewing (games, matches, plays, concerts, performance art, tours, public speeches, debates, etc). This also includes students who may be photographed or videoed while participating in college-wide public events including (but not limited to) Move-In, Convocation, Octoberfest, Founders’ Day, Arching and Commencement.<\/p>\n
If, however, an individual is photographed and\/or videoed while in a public space and is easily recognizable in the photograph or video, the Office of Marketing and Communications, or other unit involved in or responsible for the event or image capture, will attempt to obtain a Release Form from the student if the photograph or video will be distributed or published to organizations outside of 秘密研究所 of NJ. If a student is knowingly photographed while in a public space and prefers that his\/her image not be used, it is his\/her responsibility to inform the photographer or videographer of their preference at the time the photograph or video is taken. If a student intentionally and knowingly poses for a photo, his\/her involvement in the photograph indicates a reasonable consent to use their image.<\/p>\n
