{"id":24,"date":"2013-06-24T16:24:24","date_gmt":"2013-06-24T20:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2024-01-26T10:23:38","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T15:23:38","slug":"vehicle-schedule","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/vehicle-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Vehicle Request"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-251\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2018\/11\/Facilities-Trucks-10.4.18-44-300x177.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2018\/11\/Facilities-Trucks-10.4.18-44-300x177.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2018\/11\/Facilities-Trucks-10.4.18-44-768x454.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2018\/11\/Facilities-Trucks-10.4.18-44-1024x605.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2018\/11\/Facilities-Trucks-10.4.18-44.jpg 2032w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Off-campus Trip Scheduling<\/h3>\n<p>Facilities Management maintains a fleet of passenger vehicles available by request and reserved in advance for use by the College community for campus related activities.<\/p>\n<p>Requests for use of the accessible van and accommodations can be made through the Office of Specialized Services www.ramapo.edu\/oss<\/p>\n<h3>College Vehicle Use and Procedures<\/h3>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>College owned vehicles can be requested and utilized for College related activities only.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of a <strong>Request for College Vehicle<\/strong> Form (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2013\/06\/Vehicle-Request.pdf\">link<\/a>) is mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>Forms must be received by Facilities at least 48 hours prior to the trip to ensure time for processing and vehicle preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Only authorized drivers may drive College owned vehicles, please contact POER for additional information\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/poerd\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2024\/01\/Authorization-to-run-Drivers-license-abstract-updated-1-26-24.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Driver\u2019s License Abstract<\/a>\u00a0(writable PDF)<\/li>\n<li>Requests are fulfilled on a first-come first-served basis.<\/li>\n<li>The requesting department Unit Director&#8217;s signature is required in Part III of the Request Form.<\/li>\n<li>Key and documentation pickup and returns are conducted through the Public Safety Office.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles are located at the CPA overflow lot for pickup and return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Driver Responsibility<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Driver must complete their portion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2021\/04\/Vehicle-Maintenance-Check-List-Sample.pdf\">Vehicle Maintenance Check List<\/a> before departure and upon return, including but not limited to: glass or body damage, food or drink spills, etc.<\/li>\n<li>If vehicle is not picked up within one (1) hour of the scheduled departure time, vehicle request will be cancelled.<\/li>\n<li>The Office of Facilities should be notified in advance, of changes to scheduled departure or return time(s).<\/li>\n<li>It is the responsibility of the Driver and passengers to return the vehicle clean and free of litter or debris.<\/li>\n<li>Driver is required to report any accident or damage to the vehicle to Public Safety immediately and file an accident report.<\/li>\n<li>Fines due to traffic violations are the responsibility of the Driver.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For any questions concerning vehicle availability please call extension 7663.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/143\/2013\/06\/Vehicle-Request.pdf\">Vehicle Request Form<\/a> (PDF)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/policies\/policy\/motor-vehicle\/\">Motor Vehicle Policy<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Off-campus Trip Scheduling Facilities Management maintains a fleet of passenger vehicles available by request and reserved in advance for use by the College community for campus related activities.
