On May 13, 2026, graduates of the Class of 2026 will process through the Arch and <em>down<\/em> Mansion Road as it is lined with cheering families, friends, faculty, and staff. This signifies the completion of the Ramapo experience.<\/p>\n<h3>Arching Day Schedule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>9 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. (Doors at 8:15 a.m.)\u00a0 Nursing Pinning (Bachelors) &amp; Hooding Ceremony (Masters &amp; Doctoral), Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center, Arena<\/li>\n<li>11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. (Doors at 10:30 a.m.)\u00a0 Rites of Passage, Trustees Pavilion<\/li>\n<li>1 p.m.-2:15 p.m.\u00a0 (Doors at 12:30 p.m.) Academic Achievement Ceremony, Sharp Theater<\/li>\n<li>1 p.m. &#8211; 4:45 p.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/alumni\/super-70s-luncheon-50th-reunion-of-class-of-1976\/\">50th Reunion of the Class of 1976<\/a>, Alumni Lounges, Student Center Rooms 156-158<\/li>\n<li>2:30 p.m. -3:30 p.m.\u00a0 (Doors at 2:00 p.m.) Master of Social Work (MSW), M.A. in Educational Leadership, M.S. in Contemporary Instructional Design &amp; M.A. in Special Education Hooding Ceremony, Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center, Arena<\/li>\n<li>3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.\u00a0 (Doors at 2:30p.m.) Master of Business Administration, M.S. in Accounting, M.S. in Data Science, M.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Applied Mathematics, and M.F.A. in Creative Music Technology Hooding Ceremony,\u00a0 Trustees Pavilion<\/li>\n<li><strong>4:45pm Arching Ceremony (Line up begins at 4:30p.m.)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Graduates and their guests not attending a pre-ceremony are invited to come to campus starting at 3 p.m. to take their own photos and socialize in the Grove\/Arch area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Hooding Ceremony Information<\/h3>\n<p>Hooding Ceremonies are a special recognition for graduates receiving a master\u2019s or doctoral degree. As with Commencement, all faculty and students wear academic regalia at Hooding. All candidates are individually recognized and hooded at the Hooding Ceremony. The Hooding Ceremony is for graduate students and their guests only (pre-registration required) and does not replace Commencement. The Commencement Ceremony, held the next day, includes graduate and undergraduate students and is the official conferring of degrees. Registration opens on April 1. There is no cost to attend but an <strong>RSVP by the graduate is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2fF\/s60707\">Registration Form for Arching Day Events<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><strong>The Arching Ceremony at 4:45 p.m. is designed for graduates to bring TWO guests for the most optimal viewing experience for all guests <\/strong><em>(see event photography section below). The ceremony will be livestreamed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Access to Campus &amp; Parking Information<\/h3>\n<p>The North entrance to the College closes earlier in the day. Graduates and guests are directed to the South entrance. Parking is available in the B-D Lots.<strong> Handicap parking is in Lot A.\u00a0<\/strong>There will be golf cart transports provided upon request.<\/p>\n<h3>Prior to The Arching Ceremony<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Retail Outlets:\u00a0<\/strong>Below please find the hours for the retail outlets that will be open on Arching Day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dunkin&#8217;, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Common Grounds, 10:30 a.m. &#8211; 4 p.m.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Food Trucks at the Circle Lot, 11:30 a.m. &#8211; 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Bookstore, 9 a.m. &#8211; 5 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Photos:\u00a0<\/strong>Graduates and their guests not attending a pre-ceremony are invited to come to campus starting at 3 p.m. to take their own photos and socialize in the Grove\/Arch area.<\/p>\n<p><u>Photo opportunities are as follows<\/u>:<br \/>\nCongratulations Message on Lawn (across from the Bradley Center)<br \/>\nRCNJ Letters (Learning Commons)<\/p>\n<p>The Outdoor Spiritual Center &amp; Kameron Pond<\/p>\n<p>The Arch (Arch\/Grove area)* <em>Note: At 4:15 p.m., the line for photos at the Arch will close in preparation for the Arching Ceremony. It will reopen after the ceremony.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Galleries:<\/strong> Numerous senior projects will be on display in the Kresge and Pascal Galleries in the Berrie Center until 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Arching is an outdoor event that involves a lot of walking and standing for guests.
