The Anisfield School of Business minor in Human Resource Management prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to effectively manage human resources in organizations.

Goal 1: Foundation: Our students will have a broad-based knowledge in the functional areas of human resource management.

Outcome 1: Students will comprehend principles and practices in聽 key human resource management function.

Goal 2: Reasoning: Our students will be critical thinkers and decision makers who are able to use quantitative and qualitative methods.

Outcome 1:聽 Students will be able to identify and analyze problems and opportunities, generate alternatives, and recognize appropriate solutions.

Goal 3 Communication:聽聽 Our students will demonstrate effective written communication using appropriate current technology.

Outcome 1:聽聽Students will compose well-written business documents.

Courses fulfilling the requirements for the primary or second major may count towards the requirements of the minor, but may not exceed one-half of the credits required in the minor. A School core does not need to be completed for a minor.聽 Minors are open to students regardless of school affiliation.
